The lights are on...

Sun Oct 15, 2006, 4:04 PM
And I'm actually home. The reason I've not put up anything new is because I can't really. I've packed my Wacom, the scanner. It's all packed up and (hopefully) still in a cargo container sailing towards the US. Unless of course it's accendentally tipped into the sea in which case I'm right royaly buggered.
I figured I should say something though given my lack of updates.
I've not forgotten about putting up the 200 and 250 hit gifts but I don't really have the means to do much right now. I've also not really been drawing much lately.
The majority of time was spent packing furniture and getting it ready to be shipped "home".
Now that that's done the new priority has been to tranfer the remaining furniture that's staying in Cyprus a little longer to our new rented house so we can get the heck out of this one.
I will miss the view, I'll even miss the location, (the kiosk owner and I are on a first name basis these days) but I sure as heck won't miss our landlord. He's a Cypriot who pretend to be an Englishman that hates Cypriots. If -I- ever see him again, it'll be too soon.

An ETA on when to actually expect something to show up on my page: December(ish)
That's when I -should- have access to my stuff.
Something that may interest some of those out there that like my sculpting. I will be shying away from confectioners chocolate in favor of a more traditional medium.
Super Sculpy, hopefully.
After all, I'm moving to the land of plenty, where a mans dreams are only limted by his wallet. Because of that, I intend to tackle some larger sculpts and maybe even make some Sci-fi stuff. It'll be kind of nice to deal with a medium that hardens as opposed to melts. As it stands, the wolf and Aphrodite are still in the fridge enjoying their last weeks on earth before heat claims them and returns them to the soupy form from whence they came.
I may actually finish carving my first (hint) rendition of Aphrodite while I still can before she melts.

Hehe. Doing the countdown were we?
Don't worry I was watching it religously as well. ^_^
Now to get to work on a proper 100 Hit gift.
